OUR VISION

Our Vision Statement:

…to be a Christ-centred church, training and equipping men and women who would lead with humility and serve with authority.

Spirit-led, our hope is to mend leaders in men and women of God who will exhibit humility and leadership in their ways, winning souls for the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe:

• that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God;

• that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

• in the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ;

• in the continued ministry of the Holy Spirit in and through believers; in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ;

• that God leads and places believers in the local assembly;

• that God is continually restoring further light and truth to His Church.

We therefore place no limits on further revelation but review it in light of the Word of God.

MEET THE PASTOR

Steve Oboh: Lead Pastor

Steve encountered the Lord as a teenager and was blessed with early exposure to ministerial and leadership challenges through which he learned humility and gained an increasing attraction to excellence and a growing appreciation for the Word of God. He believes the Gospel of Christ has the power to transform, revealing, as it does, that we all are created with great deposits of God’s glory within. Leading from that, Steve’s passion is to build people up into their full potential and motivate them to walk in their destiny in Christ as revealed in the Word of God. He believes, also, that to be organizationally effective, the local assembly/ministry should be Spirit-led and, at the same time, pragmatic, efficient, flexible, community-oriented and forward-looking. Steve’s desire is to be relevant to people of all ages – seniors, middle aged, young adults, teenagers and children. He enjoys music, reading, traveling to places of interest and hanging out with Panebi, his wife and best friend, with whom he has two adult children.
